Stop Los Angeles Police Department Spying Coalition (Stop LAPD) is a community group working to "build community power toward abolishing police surveillance" (Stop LAPD, n.d.).

They build political critique and analysis on the use of police surveillance to monitor and control Black and Brown communities in Los Angeles, as well as nationally.

Stop LAPD will be central in challenging the use of surveillance technologies for "predictive policing" that will be mobilized in the name of public health and national security during the COVID pandemic to contain and condemn poor Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities.
