Throughout their strike, the five men incarcerated at LaSalle Detention Facility in Jena, Louisiana face multiple civil rights violations, including being subjected to force-feeding and forced-hydration, medical neglect, and retaliatory solitary confinement.

Freedom for Immigrants will file four complaints on their behalf with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
