Led by the warrior queen Boudica, the Iceni are an Indigenous people of the island that will become known as Britain who initially welcomed early Romans, building relationship and trade. As Roman expansion continues, Boudica leads a rebellion against the imperial forces by pulling together a collaboration between tribes across the south. Eventually defeated, it is the largest rebellion against the Roman empire. Londinium, the capital of the empire, is burned and destroyed.
