The “All of Us” research program of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) builds a Native health data and DNA database that they say will benefit Indigenous communities through disease treatment and prevention.

The program will be introduced in urban areas with large Native communities. However, the NIH bypasses consulting with Indigenous communities, and some Native leaders call it out as “biocolonialism.”
