The center is founded with the mission of providing safe abortions and gynecological care to women in Atlanta. However, the organization will later shift its mission to be in alignment with the work of SisterSong, seeking to address systemic inequities in healthcare and society that affect women, People of Color, immigrant families, low-income and rural communities, and people from the trans and LGBTQ+ communities. This includes providing donor insemination support, a refugee women’s health project, a trans health project, and more.
