The Atlantic reports that 10 companies own almost all of the for-profit burial and cremation-related services. These companies include Carriage Services, 1-800-Flowers.com, Rock of Ages Corporation, Stewart Enterprises, Matthews International, Amazon, StoneMor Partners, Hillenbrand, Inc., Walmart, and Service Corporation International.
