Street Youth Rise UP! is a campaign created to: "change the way Chicago sees and treats its homeless homefree and street based youth who do what they have to do to survive" (YWEP, n.d.)
Their work includes a Bad Encounter Line for youth to fill out when they have been denied help from someone who is supposed to help them, such as a social worker. The group also forms a Healing in Action program that supports youth teaching other youth different healing and care modalities, such as self-exams, plant medicine, and other forms of bodily care and support.
