"Healing by Choice! (HbC!) is a diverse group of women and gender non-nonconforming People of Color health and healing practitioners based in Waawiiyatanong / Detroit, [Michigan]" (Healing by Choice!, n.d.).

They provide workshops and trainings in a healing justice framework, and are working to get a mobile wellness van able to bring collective care as defined by local people to their neighborhoods and homes.

HbC! will become the local organizational lead for the Healing Justice Practice Space (HJPC) at the Allied Media Conference (AMC).
