The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) submits fetal remains found in a sewer for DNA analysis. While the investigator claims the analysis is for a welfare check on the mother, the remains are from a fetus close to the stage of development where legal abortion is cut off in Georgia (20 weeks). The investigator suggests that if the remains are identified as being past the legal abortion period, criminal charges might be taken against the doctor or any others complicit in performing the abortion.
