A Gallup poll finds that both young adults under the age of 30 and people living in poverty frequently refrain from seeking care for symptoms of COVID-19. The reasons are primarily economic: lack of health insurance and inability to cover health costs. Many make the decision to care for themselves at home to stay out of the healthcare system.
