Most primary care clinicians are classified as small businesses. With a decrease in general office visits, primary care physicians have experienced huge hits to their businesses. Federal stimulus packages passed so far don't include funding for small independent medical practices. 34% of clinicians have no COVID-19 testing capacity, and 32% report having limited testing capacity. In addition, 53% report that they lack Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and 58% report that their practices currently rely on used and homemade PPE.
