An American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) project names reducing incarceration as a primary strategy for reducing COVID-19 deaths. The project works with epidemiologists, mathematicians, and statisticians to show that without reducing prison populations, the death rate will be double what the Trump administration is currently projecting.
